Dr. Miguel Cordeiro is an Assistant in Ophthalmology at Hospital de Egas Moniz, Unidade Local de Saúde Lisboa Ocidental.

He completed his master’s degree at the NOVA Medical School in 2013.
He is a member of the Portuguese Society of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS) and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS). He focused his clinical and research efforts on ocular infection and inflammation.

Dr. Miguel Cordeiro has been an invited speaker at 16 national and international conferences, has been both an author (87 scientific posters and communications, 9 scientific papers) and participated in 27 specialized courses.
